The White Shield Center serves the needs of pregnant and parenting clients between the ages of 12 and 18, as well as adolescent girls who need a safe, secure, and nurturing environment. The Salvation Army White Shield Center treatment philosophy maintains that individuals will make positive changes for themselves when provided with the appropriate teaching, support, and opportunity to do so.
