On January 22nd, PlayWrite Playwrights past and present gathered to share their work as participants in the Fertile Ground Festival of New Works in the city of Portland. We showcased plays from three recent workshops, as well as new original works by PlayWrite grads, and new works in progress from a contemporary workshop at Mt. Scott High School. Acrobatic dolphins, self-interested Komodo dragons, old feather pens, spoken word, spongy moss…brilliant, creative writers covered it all at WORD.VOICE. this year!
