WordVoice 2011

Date: May 24th, 2011
Location: The World Trade Center Theatre

A mangy mutt with a fear to face, a book in search of its father, a teddy bear with a fresh outlook.  Beautiful plays, brilliant - and catchy! - songs, a skit highlighting the workshop process…and even one monologue by a kazoo.

WordVoice showcases some of the plays and songs written in recent PlayWrite Inc. workshops. This year’s WordVoice presents work written by creative young writers from Portland Night High School, New Avenues for Youth, Merrick School/ChristieCare, Rosemont School, White Shield Center, and Mt. Scott Learning Center.
